  • What happens to my employees after a sale?
Your employees are a top priority. I believe in continuity and stability, meaning the existing team remains in place, and I step in as an on-site leader to support, not replace, your people.
  • How long does the selling process take?
The timeline varies, but a typical sale takes 3–6 months from our first conversation to closing. I move efficiently while ensuring a smooth, well-planned transition.
  • How is Focal Point different from private equity or corporate buyers?
Unlike private equity firms, I don’t buy businesses just to flip them for a quick profit. I personally relocate to run the business, working alongside the team every day to ensure long-term success and continuity.
  • What types of businesses are you looking to acquire?
I focus on established, profitable businesses with strong fundamentals, recurring revenue, and a dedicated team. Ideal companies have $10M–$50M in revenue and $1.5M–$5M in EBITDA, in industries like industrial services, manufacturing, technical services, and healthcare services.
  • What if I'm not quite ready to sell?
That’s completely okay. I’m happy to have an informal conversation to understand your goals and explore if this is the right path for you—no pressure, just a conversation.
  • As the seller, what would be my role after the sale?
We'll work together to decide what's best for the company and the team. Some owners prefer to stay involved for a period of time, while others are ready to move on immediately. I offer flexible transition options to fit your goals.
  • How do you determine the value of my business?
I take a fair, transparent approach to valuation, considering factors like revenue, profitability, industry trends, and company strengths. I work directly with you to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • What happens to my customers and suppliers?
Relationships with customers and suppliers remain a top priority. My goal is to maintain and strengthen those relationships, ensuring stability and trust through the transition.
  • Will you change the company name or culture?
No. I respect and preserve what makes your business unique. My goal is to build on your success while maintaining the company’s name, reputation, and core values.
  • What's the first step if I'm interested in learning more?
